Why did you choose to be an RA?
I had a great RA my freshman year. I'm a senior and I still talk about how great he was. I want to have that same affect on my residents. I chose to be an RA because I like to help people and I want my residents to have a great experience living on campus.

Hello and welcome to 6th West Honors! My name is Courtney Banks and I will be your RA for the 2012-13 school year. I'm a senior majoring in Early Childhood Education, and I hope to one day teach Kindergarten. A fun fact about me is I was born in Tokyo, Japan. My family and I moved to Sacramento, California when I was four, so unfortunately I don’t know any Japanese. I enjoy playing basketball and volleyball so if you're ever up for some friendly competition let me know. I also enjoy zumba and kickboxing workouts, so if you ever need a workout partner I’m your girl.
