Major: Mass Communication
Class: Senior
Hometown: Dayton, Ohio
Hi everyone!
I hope your summer is going well. To start with, my name is Sarah. This will be my fourth year as a Wright State student working on my degree in Mass Communications and a minor in Marketing. It will also be my third year as a Resident Assistant.
Honors is a great place to live and definitely an experience you are going to remember! My job is to help provide that experience and to help you succeed. You can think of me as your tour guide, resource center, friend, and second family. That last role is important, I mean think of it this way: You will spend the next nine months with the people on this floor. You will not only be sharing a room, but meals, classes, late night movie marathons, and probably a few late night study sessions. Some of you are just a few minutes from home while others are several hours away, but either way by the end of the year this place will hopefully be your home away from home.
One last thing before you go back to figuring out how to pack your whole room into a few boxes. How successful this year will be, is up to you. Get involved, try new things, and step out of your comfort zone. The more you put into this year, and your time in college, the more you will get out of it (yes, I know, sounds cliché, but it just also happens to be true).
