Why did you choose to be an RA?
My freshman year, I had an awesome RA who made my whole experience, transition, and acclimation a blast. I want to share the same with others.
What is your favorite thing about living on campus at WSU?
There are a lot of things I enjoy with living on campus. Something that I especially appreciate is being around so many friendly neighbors that I can talk to, bounce questions off of, and share advice with in the residence halls.

I’m Taylor Edmiston and I’ll be your RA for 3rd Pine in the Woods for the 2011-2012 school year. I’m a senior, and a third-year RA, so I know all the tricks of the trade. I’m a computer science major which means I’m basically a big computer nerd, but also I really like people. Once you get me started, I can’t stop talking.
I’m opinionated, but also open-minded. I’m also in to photography (doesn’t mean I’m good at it), and really enjoy anything about technology or gadgets. I’m hardworking and competitive. I have stayed on top of my academics over the past three years, and I can guide you toward dong the same.
My philosophy is that getting involved on campus makes the best college experience. I’ve been president and treasurer of several clubs (shout out to Foosball Club), committees, a mentor for other students, etc., and also a member of the Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society. If you want something to get involved with, come talk to me and I’ll offer direction. I’m pumped to be back in the fall and can’t wait to meet everyone.
