Writing Habits for Success: Lessons from Exemplars

Thursday, May 15, 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm, in 023 Dunbar Library.

Led by Tamera Schneider, Assistant Vice President of Multicultural Affairs and Professor of Psychology .

CTL presentation, discussion, and bi-monthly group meetings

Do you find it difficult to find time to write, and sacrifice weekends and vacations for writing? I'll briefly present experimental research that offers simple, practical information that scholars are often not taught about the writing process. Any faculty member who wants to write more will benefit from applying this information -- both in terms of productivity and reclaiming balance!

In addition to discussing the writing process on this date, small groups will meet weekly and the larger group will meet bi-monthly to discuss writing progress.

Attendees will receive the book (or e-book), How to Write A Lot (2007), by Dr. Paul Silvia, Associate Professor, UNC at Greensboro.
