Engage students with the New York Times in your classroom—and start them on a lifelong intellectual habit

Thursday, August 29, 2:00 pm to 3:20 pm, in 023 Dunbar Library.

Led by Carol Patitu, Leadership Studies in Education; December Green, Political Science; Kandace Rusnak, Education Team Manager from the New York Times.

Wright State University faculty Carol Patitu, Ph.D. and December Green, Ph.D. tell how they have used the New York Times in their classrooms at WSU. Kandace Rusnak, Education Team Manager from the New York Times, will provide materials and answer questions. Instructors who adopt NYT receive a free subscription. The NYT readership program is sponsored by First Year Programs, so students in participating classes can pick up the NYT from campus newsstands free of charge. Refreshments will be provided at this program.
