You've heard some talk about MOOCs, Massively Open Online Courses. Now, join the conversation in the summer Teaching and Learning Circle (TLC), A Taste of MOOCs. In this TLC, you'll have a chance for collegial discussion about the implications of MOOCs for higher education, for WSU and for you. We'll use current articles and media from the leading thinkers on education and technology to inspire lively and robust discussions on three Tuesdays, May 21, June 11, and July 9, 2013 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon. Face-to-face and Pilot Live options are available for participating.

Note: Experiencing a MOOC first-hand will inform your contributions to this TLC. Therefore, you are required to register and participate in at least one week of Coursera's History of Rock, Part One facilitated by University of Rochester during this TLC.

Here are the details and registration information: History of Rock, Part One 7 weeks starting May 13, 2013 Workload: 2-4 hours/week Register at the Coursera Web site
