Universal Design: Making Web Content for Pilot

Monday, February 18, 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, in 023 Dunbar Library.

Led by Jeff Hiles, Instructional Designer, CTL.

Learn a streamlined method of making Web pages for Pilot courses. This hands-on workshop will focus on principles that apply no matter what Web page editor you use. You'll learn three major factors that ensure your content is accessible by students with disabilities: order, structure and equivalent alternatives. As part of the workshop, you'll receive a collection of templates and learn how to use them in ways that save you time and make your Web content more attractive and consistent. It would be best to have some experience using Pilot before you take this workshop.
