Student Information—What to Share and With Whom

What information about a student can you share and with whom? Can I talk with parents, other staff and faculty about information contained in students' educational records? This session will provide a detailed explanation of the university's policy regarding the release of student information (concerns about student behavior, academic grades, disciplinary outcomes, home address, UID, etc.) We will provide you with a copy of the policy, various forms, help you understand what information you can and cannot release, and under what circumstances it can be done.
