Wednesday, February 6, 3:00 pm to 4:15 pm, in 023 Dunbar Library.
Led by Office of Student Support Services Staff.
Students frequently encounter multiple challenges in their path to graduation. Many of these challenges involve crucial non-academic concerns that aren't being met. Staff in the Office of Student Support Services are advocates for students at the university, particularly for those who are have complex needs. Student Support Services is a clearinghouse of resources and a place where students can actively work toward solutions that help them stay in school. This workshop will provide examples and case studies of typical challenges that students face and how the Office of Student Support Services partners with others in the university community to meet the needs our students.
